Client: The Vision Detroit
Year: 2025
Location: Artist Village, Detroit
Disciplines: Art Direction, Event Branding, Wayfinding, Illustration, Photography
The Challenge
The objective was to develop a visual language that felt as eclectic and kinetic as the event itself. The branding needed to scale across a vast range of digital and physical touchpoints—from social media promotion to environmental wayfinding—while maintaining a consistent "vibe" that celebrated the raw talent and cultural richness of Detroit.
The Solution
We established a foundational design system that focused on a "bold and cartoon-inspired" aesthetic. To ensure efficiency without sacrificing impact, we created templates for artist posters that allowed collaborators like Brooke Snow and Jaylen Woods to scale the campaign while maintaining a cohesive look. This system extended into the physical space through a detailed map of the Artist Village and directional signage that guided guests through the market and performance zones.
The Impact
The festival was a resounding success, drawing a diverse crowd of over 500 attendees. The brand identity gained significant media traction, including a featured segment on CBS Detroit, and successfully defined an experience that went beyond a simple event to become a true celebration of Detroit culture.
